BIO:

Carissa Biele is an entertainer integrating both a music and television personality career. Carissa was raised in Missouri and resides in Nashville, TN.

Aside from her ability to sing, songwrite & “Steal a stage,” Carissa has a solid resume including news/entertainment anchor, radio personality, producer, video editor, marketing director & Motorsports maven. Not to mention, she is highly educated with her broadcasting degree & a Master’s in business.    Carissa’s experience began as early as 11 years of age as a local studio dancer and star of children’s community musical theatre productions. She began working for her favorite country classic radio station in high-school as a board operator during the NASCAR racing broadcasts. The board operations led to a morning show co-hosting position with Zimmer Radio Group alongside long-time radio jockey, Jeremy Washington.

After high school, Carissa transitioned into television hosting on a local cable show, “Ozarks in the A.M.” and “Your Lake Today.” Biele also kept her passion for motorsports rolling forward by volunteering for promotional and reporting work at regional raceways. She was awarded the title of “Miss Gateway” in 2008 as a result of her dedication and hard work at Gateway International Raceway in Madison, IL.

Memphis Motorsports Park offered Carissa a business development coordinator position at the end of her local television contract, which moved her to Memphis Tennessee. Carissa had a garage band located in the Lake Ozark area but left it behind and started her first professional band in Memphis, TN. She sang alongside the Jimmy Hudson band almost every weekend for two years around Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Missouri. Biele was also asked to sing the National Anthem at a NASCAR Truck and Nationwide race in Madison, IL at Gateway International speedway which allowed her to experience a large crowd and also airred on ESPN 2.

During her time in Memphis, she freelanced as a production assistant for several, what was then, SPEED-TV, series such as “Pinks All Out” and “PassTime.” When Carissa’s father became ill, she made the decision to accept a Missouri CBS affiliated news anchoring position, move back to her roots and continue her education in graduate school. Once back in Missouri, Carissa formed a new band and began playing once again. Biele spent some time as a house singer at Columbia Missouri’s honky tonk, “NashVegas,” with the owner, Justin Conrad.

Once Carissa obtained her Master’s degree she moved to Nashville, formed a new band and began working as a pit reporter for the IHRA race series. Carissa co-hosted the IHRA “Nitro Jam,” series airred on MAV TV alongside host & Top Fuel champion, Clay Millican. Biele’s entrepreneurship began to florish as she also started her own liquor and wine LLC with future plans for a winery. Carissa is her own management. She has accomplished a great deal on her own. Once in Nashville, she met producer, Pat Holt who she cut her EP titled, “Crazy Bout’ You Baby,” with at his Midtown studio.

By 2016, she was the featured Pit-reporter on the return of a motorsports game show called “Pinks All Out,” which aired on The Outdoor Channel. Carissa cut a full, 10 song original album with producer Dustin Hough at Studio 19 which is now part of the Sound Kitchen in Franklin, TN. The album, titled “Karma,” is now available online. Carissa and her band have played all over the country, with an apparent niche in the motorsports racing world.

Carissa lost her father to cancer; her mother later beat breast cancer but was diagnosed with early-onset Dementia. Carissa is a very passionate advocate towards finding a cure for both Alzheimer’s and Cancer.
